"question": "Where exactly does the driver meet me at Athens Airport?",
"answer": "Your driver waits at the arrivals baggage-hall exit on the ground floor, holding a sign with your name — whether you land at the Main Terminal or the seasonal Satellite Terminal. Clear passport control and baggage claim, then look for your name at the exit."
},
{
"question": "What if my flight is delayed?",
"answer": "We track your flight in real time, so if it's delayed the driver's arrival adjusts automatically — you won't find them waiting at the old time, and it won't cost you extra. The first 60 minutes after your actual landing time are free."
},
{
"question": "How do I pay, and is tipping expected?",
"answer": "By default (\"Reserve Now & Pay Later\" at checkout), you pay the driver directly in cash at the end of the ride — nothing is charged when you book. If you choose \"Pay Now\" instead, PayPal handles the charge — by card or PayPal account — and we never see your card details. Tipping isn't expected in Greece; a little extra for great service is appreciated but never required."
},
{
"question": "Can I cancel?",
"answer": "For transfers, yes, free of charge up to 24 hours before pickup — just send us a message. Day trips have their own cancellation window; see our Cancellation & Refund Policy for both."

{
"question": "How much luggage fits?",
"answer": "Up to 5 passengers with full-size suitcases, or 6–7 passengers with carry-on bags. Tell us about strollers, golf bags or extra suitcases and we will confirm before your trip."
},
{
"question": "Are tolls and low-emission zone fees included in the price?",
"answer": "Yes. The Attiki Odos motorway toll is already built into your fixed price, and Athens' low-emission \"Daktylios\" zone restricts private cars, not licensed transfers — so there's no zone fee for us to pass on either way. The number we quote is the number you pay."
},
{
"question": "How long does the transfer to central Athens take?",
"answer": "Usually 25–35 minutes outside peak hours. During weekday morning (07:30–09:30) or evening (17:00–19:30) traffic on the Attiki Odos motorway, allow up to 45–60 minutes. Your fixed price doesn't change either way."
},
{
"question": "Is it more expensive than a taxi, the metro or the bus?",
"answer": "The metro (about €9, ~40 minutes) and the X95 airport bus (about €5.50, ~60 minutes) are the cheapest options travelling solo with light luggage. Against a taxi, our fixed price is usually similar or better from two passengers up, with a driver already waiting for you instead of a queue."
},
{
"question": "Is there a charge if I land at a different terminal than expected?",
"answer": "No. Athens Airport has a Main Terminal and a seasonal Satellite Terminal, and your driver knows both — if your flight ends up at a different one than planned, they'll meet you there instead, at no extra charge."
},
{
"question": "Can I book a transfer for a late-night arrival?",
"answer": "Yes, we run transfers around the clock. Pickups between 00:00 and 05:00 have a small flat night surcharge (currently €15) rather than being priced the same as daytime — your driver will still be waiting with your name regardless of the hour."
},
{
"question": "Do you provide free child seats?",
"answer": "Yes. Tell us your child's age when you book and we'll have the right seat — infant carrier or booster — fitted and ready, at no extra charge."
},
{
"question": "Are you a licensed company?",
"answer": "Yes. AthensDayTrip operates as a licensed transport company in Greece, licence number 170330001000."
